Clint Hill
a former United States Secret Service agent who was in the presidential motorcade during the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas.
During the assassination Hill ran from the car immediately behind the presidential limousine, leaped on to the back of it and shielded Mrs. Kennedy and the already stricken president with his body as the car raced to Parkland Memorial Hospital. Hill is the last surviving passenger of the presidential limousine which arrived at Parkland Hospital.

Timothy J. McCarthy
a former member of the United States Secret Service. During the 1981 Reagan assassination attempt, he turned into the line of fire, shielding Ronald Reaganfrom one of John Hinckley, Jr.'s .22 caliber bullets. Surgeons at George Washington University Hospital successfully removed the round from McCarthy's abdomen, and he fully recovered. McCarthy is one of only four Secret Service agents to have taken a bullet for the President.
